A Proposed V16 by Daniel Woods: “The Game”

Bookmark and Share

I thought it would be fun to post some ground-breaking climbing news before I tried to get everyone excited about my otherwise insignificant Presidents’ Day weekend climbing adventures.

Daniel Woods may have put up the world’s first V16.  What that really means, I don’t really know.  All he’s stated is that “The Game” was harder than both Terremer and Jade.  It took him 17 days of work over a couple years, one broken hold and nasty fall, and a epiphany leading to new beta to complete.

Cedar Wright caught the footage, and he’s holding out, in collaboration with Sender Films and Big Up Productions, for the Reel Rock Tour this year.  Fine, Cedar, whatever. I didn’t want to see a V16 anyway…

In any case, here’s the link to Cedar’s Blog.

P.S. – I wouldn’t dare post any high-profile photographs of any characters here… so here’s a couple hot chicks in tight shirts, obviously unrelated to anything I was just talking about.
